Bana kalirsa iPhone 5, cunku diger markalarin hala multi-touch gibi cok baz teknolojilerde sorunlar yasadigini goruyorum ve bu beni irite ediyor. Arayuz olarak ve cihazin yapildigi materyallerde de iOS ve apple cok basarili. Ama tabiki bunlarin hepsi benim fikirlerim, Benim icin iPhone 5 senin icin Sony Xperia Z olabilir.

Apple unveiled iPhone 5 today. This event was particularly important to me, because I was wondering whether iPhone 5 would be an evolutionary device or a revolutionary product. It turns out to be an evolutionary device made to look like a revolutionary one.

Why is this so important? 

Well, even though no one cares to mention it nowadays, there is no Steve Jobs at Apple anymore, and looks like he didn’t left much to Apple product-wise. That’s why Apple’s playing safe by not revealing anything new right now. Because they can sell millions of the same thing, by just tweaking it a little. I’m not saying that iPhone 5 is bad, nor disappointing. But it’s certainly nothing new. 

This will not last forever. People will stop buying the same thing only faster and thinner sometime, maybe not so soon, but sometime. I believe it’s certain that the next iPhone or -another new thing- MUST be revolutionary. Because that’s what Apple does. That’s why they’re number one. That’s their thing. Sure they’re still doing some sweet little revolutions like the new EarPods (by the way EarPods, Lightning, really? Who came up with these names? They’re just not as coherent as iPod or Thunderbolt was.) that are totally awesome, but nothing major. 

After this point, I think it’s safe to say that Apple’s golden era is coming to an end. Not quickly though, and I’m sure iPhone 5 will break record after record but, it’s coming to an end in a couple of years. I think it’s pretty sad, I mean I really love Apple and I would REALLY like to see an iPhone 5 that had Apple’s  ”Wow factor.”  But no more “one more thing” is killing me, and Apple; slowly. 

There is also a possibility that Steve Jobs left nothing new to Apple, in that case, things will be harder for Apple; but I think great minds like Jony Ive and Phil Schiller can come up with something amazing. I hope they will anyway. I would wait in line for 24 hours for the first iPhone, because Apple had that effect on the original iPhone, you felt like dying by looking at it’s pictures and you went crazy when you first saw that accelerometer turning a photo automatically, or pinch to zoom trick.

Apple needs that now. I hope they’ll find something that has their signature “Wow effect” because if they don’t, it will get harder to sell the same thing again and again.

Özetle: iPhone 5 güzel ürün tabi ki ama aynı şeyi evirip çevirip hızlandırıp inceltip satmaktalar hala. Apple Jobs olmadan devrim yaratacak bir ürün ortaya atamazsa altın çağı birkaç yıla bitecek gibi görünüyor.
